Make the review part of your food record

The app provides food recognition and nutrient estimates. It is not a glucose monitor, medication calculator or substitute for diabetes care.

  1. 1. Record the meal and serving

Use photo, voice or text to describe what you ate. Include the amount and ingredient context you can confirm.

  2. 2. Check the recognised foods

Review the meal details and portion assumptions before considering the nutrient estimate. Hidden ingredients and mixed dishes can affect the result.

  3. 3. Review carbohydrate information

Use the record to prepare questions for your care team. Follow their instructions for carbohydrate targets, medication and treatment decisions.

Entry and result are separate steps

Enter the meal first, then review the estimated carbohydrates and other nutrients before you rely on them.

A food record has a specific role

Use the app to record food information. Your healthcare team remains the source for treatment instructions.

What you can review

Meal descriptions, serving details, identified foods and available nutrient estimates, including carbohydrates.

What you must check

Food and portion assumptions. Recognition can miss ingredients or estimate amounts incorrectly.

What not to infer

Do not use AI meal recognition or carbohydrate estimates to determine insulin or medication doses, diagnose a condition or change treatment.
