Record foods. Review information. Keep the limits clear.

The app helps with a food record and nutrient estimates. It does not measure your microbiome or diagnose a digestive condition.

  1. 1. Choose a logging method

Photograph the meal, describe it aloud or type what you ate. Include serving details when you know them.

  2. 2. Review available nutrients

Check the identified foods and nutrient estimates. Review fibre information where available, with the same attention to portions and ingredients.

  3. 3. Look back with a purpose

Use your meal history to prepare questions about food choices for a clinician or dietitian. Agree any dietary changes with your care team.

Choose the input that gives you useful context

The real entry screens show voice and text options. Neither of these captures includes a submitted meal or an analysed health outcome.

Know which information you are looking at

A food description, a nutrient estimate and a medical conclusion are different kinds of information.

Your recorded meal

The meal name, description and serving details describe what you chose to log. Uncertain ingredients remain uncertain.

Estimated nutrition

Calories and available nutrients are estimates based on the identified foods and amounts. They are not an exact laboratory measurement.

Questions that need care

A food photo does not measure gut bacteria, diagnose IBS or IBD, or explain the cause of symptoms. Bring those questions to a qualified clinician.
