A meal record for your care conversations
Keep the tracking plan you agreed with your care team. The app records food information; it does not establish which foods cause symptoms.
1. Record what you know
Use a photo, voice description or text. Include the meal name and serving details you can confirm.
2. Review the context
Check the identified foods and portion assumptions. Note what is uncertain rather than treating an AI estimate as a complete ingredient list.
3. Prepare your questions
Review the food record alongside any symptom notes you already keep under your care plan. Ask your dietitian how to interpret it.
More detail than a meal label
The text entry screen gives you a place to name a meal and choose a serving size. This example is about recording context, not identifying a trigger.
What the record can and cannot tell you
A useful food record preserves uncertainty. It is not a diagnosis or a definitive FODMAP assessment.
Food and serving information
You can record meals and review estimated nutrients. Check ingredients and amounts against the information available to you.
Symptom context
A meal history may help you describe food choices in a care conversation. A repeated meal or symptom does not, by itself, establish a cause.
FODMAP decisions
Photos can miss ingredients and portions. Agree dietary restrictions or changes with your clinician or dietitian.
